What do a wild grizzly, a gibbon, a boy on a bike, and a lady in a hot air balloon have in common? They're all converging on the hills Pickhead calls home! That's right, dear reader, Pickhead—the pigheaded little red riding-hooded girl with the big pickax, who can talk to animals—is back for more rip-roaring, hair-raising adventures with her Grammy, her tap-dancing sister Milady, and forest critters both native and less so. When a gibbon raised in captivity goes missing in the woods, Pickhead sets out to reunite him with his owner—while racing a forest fire!
