Todd Fredson's Azo Vauguy a Finalist for the 2023 National Book Critics Circle Award

Todd Fredson's Azo Vauguy a Finalist for the 2023 National Book Critics Circle Award

My friend and fellow USC alum Todd Fredson has devoted the last decade to working with Ivoirian and West African Francophone poets. His latest, Zakwato & Loglêdou’s Peril by Azo Vauguy, is now a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle’s Gregg Barrios Book in Translation Prize. It has, despite the titular “Critics,” yet to be bequeathed a single review in any periodical. Get off your duffs, readers! Review this book!
